Politicisation of Indian Education

Here, we have studied a process of politicization and its impact on Indian education system. A process of politicisation appears to be a positive correlation between education and political cognition and participation but, in practice, it has become the chief recruiting ground of mindless goods. This work is classified into seven comprehensive chapters. Historical Legacy of Education and Politics has been discussed in first chapter. Second chapter throws light on the Role of Education in Political Development. Politicisation of University Education has been described in third chapter and fourth chapter deals with Democracy and Education. Fifth chapter emphasizes the symbolic Relation between Politics and Education however, Educational Administration and Panchayat Politics. Rural Education and Political Development is critically examined in the last chapter of this book.
