Politics and Government

Politics is the art of possible and the structure which exercises power and control is termed as government. In modern times the organisation of politics and government has become complex. Their power has increased. But still we need the government to organise social relations, to contain and resolve conflicts and to achieve common goals of the society. Why do we need the government?
