Practical Geography

Kaushik Chavan, a senior lecturer in geography, obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. in the subject. He has a brilliant academic records to his credit and he has been awarded with several prizes, including gold medals and scholarships. His area of research interest include social geography, cultural geography, urban geography, rural geography and enviromental geography. He is engaged in research and teaching for more than one and half decades. He has published a unmber of research papers in various journals, proceeding and edited books.
