The book deals with the various parts of micro economic theory. The ordinal approach to utility based on indifference curve analysis has been discussed. Production function dealing with short run and long run operation of the laws of returns and returns to scale have been analysed. Price and output determination under various market structures have been described. The National Income analysis has been analysed with the relationship between the National Income and economic welfare. The book is an interesting presentation of micro economic theory with the presentation of tables, schedules and diagrams.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR C.M. Chaudhary
Dr. C.M. Chaudhary did his B.A. Hons. (Eco.), M.A. (Eco.), M.Phil and Ph.D from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is the Gold Medalist in M.Com. and first class first in P.G. Diploma in Labour Laws, Labour Welfare and Personnel management from the J.N.V. University, Jodhpur.He had served as a lecturer in commerce, J.N.V. University, Jodhpur during 1972-74 and Lecturer in EAFM College Education, Govt. of Rajasthan during 1974-87 and thereafter served the university Deptt. of EAFM, Jaipur as Professor during 1987-2004. He has been associated with various schools of management studies.He participated and presented papers in 17 National and International seminars and conferences. He has contributed more than 6 dozen articles/papers in national and international journals. His area of specialization is General Economics, Labour Economics, Monetary Theory and Public Enterprises. He has written several books on Economics, Commerce and Management. He is life member of several academic bodies and on the board of studies in commerce and management in state universities.
