ABOUT THE AUTHOR Meena Srivastava

Dr. Meena Srivastava is working as reader in Zoology deptt., M.P. Govt. P.G. College, Hardoi, U.P. She has 14 years of teaching experience at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, hence she is well aware of the problems faced by the students of Life Science regarding recent technologies and instruments used in laboratories. She is a topper of M.Sc. Zoology (Entomology) from Allahabad University in the year 1979. She was awarded Ph.D. in the years 2986 under honourable guidance of Professor Y.N. Singh, Allahabad University, Allahabad. Afterwards she received CSIR fellowship and worked with late Prof. U.S. Srivastava, retd. Head, Zoology deptt., Allahabad university, Allahabad, on “Insecticidal Potential of Phytochemicals” on Insects’ Brain and neorosecretory Cells. Ms. Srivastava has five years of intense experience of handling the various laboratory instruments at Forensic science laboratory, Lucknow. She has got specified training on “Electrophoretic techniques in Forensic Science. Laboratory, Lucknow. She has got specified training on "Electrophoretic techniques in Forensic science. She has published various research papers in National and International Journals in the field of neoroendocrinology, development Entomology and Juvenile Hormone Analogue.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rajesh Singh Yadav

Rajesh Singh Yadav did his graduation from M.P. Givt. P.G. College hardoi in the year 2002 and M.Sc. in Forensic science from Bundelkhand University Jhansi in 2004. He qualified UGC national Eligibility Test for Lecturership and Junior research fellowship in December 2005 and is now working as Junior research fellow in the development Toxicology Division of Industrial Toxicology research Centre, Lucknow. Mr. Rajesh Singh yadav has received training on various modern instruments from central Forensic Science laboratory, Hyderabad, C.F.S.L., Chandigarh and national Institute of criminology and Forensic science, New Delhi. He has attended various conferences and also presented a paper on forensic Odontology at the 11th Conference of Govt. Degree College Academic Society held in January 2006 at kanpur.
