ABOUT THE AUTHOR Fernando Risquez
Dr Fernando Risquez is an M.D. and Doctor of Medical Science of the Central University of Venezuela. Later he got his degree in psychiatry from McGill University in Canada. For thirty years he worked in the National Armed Forces as head of the neuropsychiatric unit, and head of the psychiatric service in, the military hospitals. He joined Martin Kelber's homoeopathic study group in 1959 and took special courses from Drs Proceso St nchez Ortega, Paschero, Trevino, Elizabeth W. Hubbard, Foubister and Pierre Schmidt. He became the president of the Liga Medicorwn Homoeopathica Internationalis. He has been a member of the elite psychiatric and psychological associations and societies of the world. His teaching career started early in life at the age of 14 as a clinical laboratory technician. His perseverance and passion pursuing academic activities saw him as a professor in graduate and post-graduate studies of medicine and psychiatry. He has published numerous papers in international scientific journals. He has received several honours and medals for professional merit.
