The books then available were compiled by various Munshis who had very little knowledge of the Pathan’s language, as few of them, if any, were Yusufza-is by birth. This book is arranged under three parts. Part-I relates to Pushtu Grammar, and Part II relates to colloquial with various useful terms. The Final Part III carries English and Pushtu vocabulary.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Zain-Ul-Abdin Khan-Abid

Zain-ul-Abdin Khan-Abid was a Pathan by birth, and had spent all his life in districts inhabited by Pathans. While writing this book, he felt he was thoroughly qualified to give correct information as to the various local dialects which most other writers lacked intimate knowledge.
