This book is bout the dreams of a common citizen of India, who wonders: shy in spite of being one of the resource-rich countries of the world, India remains one of the poorest nations on the face of the earth. It analyses our strengths as well as weaknesses, and goes on to make an emphatic statement that the malaise is not due to the people; but is because of the faulty systems and processes, particularly of the government. The book draws extensively, for its information, upon various sources; management, economics, law, social sciences, the scriptures, our cultural values, history and above all, the common sense of a common man. The book is written in an integrated way so as to analyse the real life issues in proper perspective. Ultimately, the book is about making India a country worth being proud of in a peaceful and prosperous world. It is written with an intention to make the future of our children safe and secure.
