ABOUT THE AUTHOR Akbar Husain

Akbar Husain is Professor and Chairman, Department of Psychology at the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has obtained Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from the same University in 1981. He has successfully supervised 10 M.Phil dissertations and 18 Ph.D. theses. He is author/co-author of ten books and 125 research articles/papers. Prof. Husain has attended several National and International Conferences and Seminars. He has standardized numerous psychological tests and completed three research projects. He is Life Member and Annual Member of various National and International Associations. He served as Council Member, Regional Convenor, Regional President and Associate Secretary in the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology. At present he is an editor of the JIAAP. His current areas of research are: Stress and Health, Applied Gerontology, Spiritual Psychology and Positive Psychology.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohd. Ilyas Khan

Mohd. Ilyas khan, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has served as Pool Officer with CSIR. He has published numerous research papers and articles in the area of Experimental-Personality psychology, Stress and Health.
