With the development of the Behavioural revolution in the U.S.A., there was a radical change in the approach to the study of Political Science and its various branches. There was a metamorphosis in its contents and the approaches to its study and analysis. Due to the impact of this Revolution, the Indian university had not only recast their syllabi, but were compelled to incorporate many topics, which never formed a past of the traditional approach to the study of Political Science. The unproductive intervening variables were eliminates and greater stress was laid on the aspects of observations, verification, quantification and testing. Attempts were made to subject the political pro-positions to empirical verification by more direct and rigorously controlled observation of political events.

Braham Singh, M.A., B.Ed., (Meerut university) is a retired lecturer from Delhi. Having a long experience of teaching, he is deeply involved in promotion of education. His areas of interest is mainly History and Political science. He has written many articles in magazines and journals of repute. Currently he is fully devoted in the field of political Science.
