We have to interpret and re-interpret Gandhism in terms of new challenges to mankind. If there is anything that can solve the present day problems, is the Gandhian path alongwith the opportunities which will emerge from modern science and technology. The present volume is an endeavour of the scholars to study the various issues related to mankind in era of liberalisation, globalisation and privatisation and to provide Gandhian alternative which is pro-poor and pro-nature.
