ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rabindra Kumar Panda

Dr. Rabindra Kumar Panda (b. 1963) Nyayacarya, Visistacarya, Ph.D., is currently working as Lecturerr in Sanskrit in the Department of Sanskrit , Pali and Prakrit, Faculty of Arts, M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat. His publicatioins include: Anandabodha yati: Life and Philosophy, Pratidhvani, Vanavalli, Suvrttatilaka, Urvee and Some Aspects of Logical Grammar. As a noted poet of modern Sanskrit literature he is awarded with the prestigious prize by Uttara Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan, Lucknow for his poetry-collection Pratidhvai in 1997. His specialized fields are: Navya-Nyaya, Vedanta, Alamkarasastra and Modern Sanskrit Literature. His project Critical Edition of Sabdanimaya of Prak satman with the commentary, Nyayadipika of Ananadabodhacarya is an important contribution to the field of Indian Philosophy.
