Revisiting Gandhi

No ideology has been able to solve the contemporary human problems, which is a byproduct of liberalization, privatization and globalisation.  Weare in search of an alternative, which must be pro-poor, pro-environment, and pro-humanity.  The Gandhian alternative can provide solutions to contemporary problems such as unemployment, unequal distribution of wealth, violation of human rights, terrorism, fundamentalism, exploitation, oppression, and poverty, if implemented in totality.  Gandhian thought and action are directly or indirectly echoed in contemporary debates not only in India but also throughout the globe.  In this present book an attempt has been made to rediscover, reinterpret and revisit Gandhi and his thought.  A useful book for researchers, policy makers and students of Gandhian Thought.
