Study on river basin geomorphology is not a simple academic exercise. A geomprphologist has to build up its own foundation for detail study of geomorphological scenario of the basin. It requires observation, measurement, analysis and interoretation of various spatio-temporal data such as physical aspects, hydrological, meteorological and geological information of long time period Geomorphology, which is concerned with landform material and their related processes, is pertinent in all aspects of environment management involving these physical phenomena. Geomorphologic processes do not operate in isolation. The present part of Geomorphologic study attempt to analyse the geomorphology of Buriganga river basin with an overview of Geo-environmental problems using geo spatial tools.
