ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohd. Ifzal-ur-Rehman Khan

Dr. Mohd. Ifzal-ur-Rahman Khan, having degrees from Agra, Rohilkhand and Aligarh Universities is devoted to historical research. He is at present senior lecturer in History in G.F. (P.G.) College, Shahjahanpur, U.P. affiliated to Rohilkhand Unviersity, Bareilly. His article, “Sources for the History of Medieval Katehr (Rohilkhand)” has been published in Proceedings of Indian History Congress, Goa Session, 1987and also in U.P. Historical Review Vol. 5, 1988-89. he is presently engaged in working on Muslim-Non-Muslims Relations during the medieval period and published an article, “Aurangzeb and the Hindus” in Islamic Culture, Oct. 1990. Besides, publication of some articles is awaited.
