The present book is divided into three chapters on Metaphysics, Epistemology and Axiology. The first chapter studies Metaphysics and analyzes twenty five elements under the three major categories of realities i.e. Vyakta or the manifest, avyakta or the unmanifest and jna or the knower on the basis of the metaphysical structure or Sankhyakarika. In the second chapter on Epistemology, the introduction and definition of the knower, the essential means of valid knowledge, the object of valid knowledge, valid knowledge itself as well as three pramanas as drsha or perception, anumana or inference and aaptavacana or verbal testimony have been presented. The exposition of aaptavacana has been elaborated on the basis of Svaminarayana-bhashya. In the third chapter devoted to Axiology, the concept of Karma or action, Karmakartaa or agent, karmaphala or fruits of actions, karmaphaladata or fruit-giver, bandhana or bondage, kaivalya or liberation and kaivalyasadhana or means of liberation have been presented on the basis of available material.
