The present work is concentrated on the dramatic literature in its theory and practice as available in the Sanskrit language. It gives a reliable language. It gives a reliable bibliography of authors, works, their editions and research papers arranged in alphabetical order. The list incorporates the mss. Mentioned in Aufrecht’s Catalogus Catalogorum, although various other sources are also explored. It is a good collection of information regarding the editions of works of Sanskrit dramaturgy and plays known to the compiler. Many works mentioned here have since 1906, undergone various critical editions but the worth of this bibliography is still remarkable from historical point of view. It is prefixed by an Introduction dealing with various problems of Sanskrit Dramatic literature having their permanent relevance.
