Satyagraha is a moral war and Satyagrahi a pilgrim with a torchlight in hand showing the way. Mahatma Gandhi’s unique invention of this weapon of non-violent struggle stirred up the imagination of the people of India. Eventually, this weapon has been proved to be most efficacious in mobilising people for mass agitation, movements launched by any political party, frontal organisation and people’s front.
