The Sixth chapter is concerned with the findings arid the conclusions and suggestions. It is hoped that this work will emerge as a major break-through in developing a realistic view, about secularism and its practice. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shriram Yerankar

Dr, Shriram Yerankar has been a teacher in Political Science for the last thirteen years. He holds M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science. His areas of Interest are Indian Government and Politics, Democratic Decentralization, and Human Rights. He worked as a Co-ordinator of National Youth Parliament Competition sponsored by Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Government of India, New Delhi. He is an active member of Maharashtra Political Science Association, Indian Political Science Association and Indian Social Science Congress. He has participated and presented research papers in numerous International, National, State and University level conferences and seminars. Dr. Yerankar has been publishing research papers and articles in reputed academic national and international journals. He has written five books viz. Political System & Principles of Public Administration, Political Theory & Political Thought, Indian Political System, Comparative Government and Politics, and Political Theory. At Present Dr. Yerankar is working as head, Department of Political Science, at the Shri Shivaji education Society, Amravati’s Jijamata Mahavidhayala Buldana (Maharastra). He is recognized Ph.D. Supervisor for Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati and Swami Ramanand Teerth, Marathwada University, Nanded and guiding number of students for Ph.D. degree.
