ABOUT THE AUTHOR Meenakshi F. Paul

Dr. Meenakshi F. Paul, is a translator, teacher and writer.  She teaches English at Himachal Pradesh University Centre for Evening Studies, Shimla.  Presenlty she is engaged in the research and translation of folk literature of Himachal.  She has translated the images of Sita as found in the Pahari Ramayana, select short pieces by Krishna Sobti, a couple of stories by Munshi Premchand and is documenting and Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh into English.
