The work of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan has been the most important single factor in the genesis and development of Indian and Western Comparative studies. Since shortly after the turn of the century Radhakrishnan had been working creatively for a greater synthesis of Indian and Western values and by doing so has helped us to establish the data, problems, and methods for comparative study of Indian and Western Philosophical, religious and cultural ideas. The present work is an attempt to analyse the educational philosophy of Radhakrishnan. The first chapter of this work is based on the life and work of this great man. The second chapter reveals philosophical development of Radhakrishnan. His social philosophy is discussed in the third chapter. Educational ideas of this great educationist have been examined in detail in the fourth chapter and the last chapter consists of the major conclusions of earlier discussion.
