ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kamlesh Singh

Kamlesh Singh, a distinguished teacher, obtained his masters and doctorate degrees in sociology.  Started his career as a lecturer in 1985, he has served many sociological institutions in India and abroad.  As a visionary, he has been associated with a number of academic bodies and professional organizations.  He has contributed a number of learned articles in reputed professional journals and authored two books on social change.  He has participated in many international and national conferences and has been honoured by various professional organizations for his outstanding contributions to sociology.
