ABOUT THE AUTHOR C.B. Raju

C.B. Raju M.A., LL.M., Ph.D., is at present Reader and Head, Department of Studies in Law, Mysore University, Mysore. He is the Chairperson, Board of Studies in Law, Doctoral Committee and Coordinator for Distance Education Programme in Law. He has hailed from Mysore district, Karnataka and did his B.A., LL.B., M.A., LL.M. and Ph.D. from Mysore University. His fields of specializations are Constitutional Law, Labour Law and Environmental Law. He has written many articles on various legal issues relating to Minority Rights, Rights of the SC/ST. Environmental Law, Labour Laws and Prisoners Rights. He has 10 years of rich experience in teaching and research in Law and has attended many national and international Conferences/Seminars/Workshops and presented papers on Environmental Law, Human Rights, Labour Law and Constitutional Law. He has also wide range of publications at his credit and has contributed articles to reputed Journals. At present, he is supervising 7 research scholars for Ph.D. degree. He is presently working on a project sponsored by University Grants Commission.
