The present book is the outcome of a serious and first-hand study of the literature on Gandhi, Vinoba and Jayaprakash Narain as regards their scheme and plan of national reconstruction after the achievement of India’s political freedom. It addressed itself consequently to the treatment of the social order that Mahatma Gandhi dream of bring about after he achieved remarkable success in achieving the political freedom of the Indian people. But the contribution of his followers, Vinoba Bhave and Jayaprakash Narain to the fulfillment and consummation of the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi is so splendid, pronounced and significant. The object of the present book is to establish the validity and cogency of the conclusion of Gandhi, Vinoba and Jayaprakash Narain with regard to their determination to formulate principles of the organization of a new social order and to endorse the efficacy and practicability of the methods they devised for the realization of their common goal.
