Social stratification is the result of political ambitions. By nature, man is born with no religion or sect. Being a Hindu or Muslim; a Christian or a Jew is but the sum total of social effects, which start exerting their influence upon the heart and mind of a child soon after its birth. Social stratification can be studied from different dimensions. Political, economic, religious and educational aspects are to mention a few. In all of them, the will of the powerful to dominate the weak can be traced in varied degrees. This work, Social Stratification is a serious attempt towards realising the goal of distinguishing the fact from fiction.
