ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.T. Lawani

Dr. B.T. Lawani is the Director in-Charge of the Social Sciences Center (MSW) and Centre for Business Studies (YCISSR) of Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. He has been associated with various universities and NGOs in India. As on today he has presented 28 papers on different themes at the various national level conferences and seminars. He has also been actively involved in the research activities. Dr. Lalwani is the Chief Editor of the professional Journals titled “Participative Development” published form Pune, Maharashtra. His academic intervention with the colleges and institutions of social work is of great significance. “NGOs in Development “ is one of his significant contributors to social work literature. His other books include “Social Work Education and Field Instructions” “Fieldwork Training in Social Work”, “Street Children”, and “Collection of Short Stories”.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR I.S. Subhedar

Dr. I.S. Subedar is currently working as the Reader in Sociology at Devachand College, Arjun Nagar, Dist . Kolhapur. Basically Dr. Subedar is a Social Work teacher. He taught almost ten years at the Walchand College of Social work, Solapur. He has Also worked as a Principal of UES Women’s Collage in Solapur for two years, “Fieldwork Training in Social work” is a first book ever published in India that is unique book in social work. This book has widely received by the colleges of Social work. As on today there are ten books to his credit and around 24 articles presented at the National Conferences in India. He has been associated with the various NGOs and Action Forums. Presently he is working very hard to bring communal harmony especially of Hindu-Muslim Communities in India. He is D. Lit. in Social Work form a foreign university.
