The present process of technology transfer as followed in agriculture and allied sectors needs a hyphenation, which could generate some conceptual inputs for designing out and alternative paradigm to overcome its profusely emitting limitations. Dr. Kausik Pradhan, the second Author, Lecturer in Agricultural extension in Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, in him there is extreme mettle of innovative ideas, brilliant scholarship and painstaking habit. The book itself had been his research topic while he was the research scholar of the department f Agricultural extension, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. He has published so far 20 numbers of research papers and contributed articles in two books. At this young age, he has already earned a reputation for excellent teaching, focused research, managing projects and analytical capability in statistical designing. He has got learning experiences with Government and NGO Led participatory research and development programmes in areas of planning, project monitoring, forest management and resource monitoring.
