Due to some defects in the educational system, in almost all the nations of the world, some intellectuals advocate for a deschooled society which is a unwanted, anti-social and anti-educational concept, therefore, we have included one chapter on this aspect as well but to counter this concept we have included another chapter, in this book, the thoughts of Karl Mannheim on the future of sociology of education—the concept, to the best of my knowledge, is not found in any Indian book on the subject.
