South Asia: Developments and Regional Cooperation

South Asia is a region which has seen many lows in the last fifty years. Though this region has many bright stories to tell, but more or less South Asia has been in the news for many negative reasons. It has seen three wars between India and Pakistan, a long Civil War in Srilanka, Maoist insurgency in Nepal and several other regional disputes. That’s the reason South Asia has huge potential for study purposes. This idea prompted the writer to present this book. It is a well documentation of different matters and policies of South Asia. Starting with the brief history of each country, this book further traces the economics and politics of every country which are an important factors in shaping a country.
