Writing in right way requires special skill in grammar and spelling. Spelling is troublesome in English because many words are not spelled as they sound; because some pairs and triplets sound the some; and because many words are pronounced with the vowel sound “uh”, which gives no clue to spelling. Many misspellings result from the omission of syllables in habitual mispronunciations; the addition of syllables; or the changing of syllables. English spelling can be difficult because many words in English have been imported from other languages that have different spelling conventions. But despite the difficulty it is important to spell correctly. Some misspelled words can cause confusion in the reader’s mind, but any misspelled word can send a signal to the reader that the writer is a person who is either careless or not very knowledgeable. Since no writer wants to lose credibility, correct spelling is important.
