ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.B. Jana
B.B. Jana, PhD, is Professor of Aquaculture in the Department of Zoology and Coordinator of the International Center of Ecological Engineering at the University of Kalyani, India. He is a founding member of the Asian Fisheries Society, an International Board member of Agricultural Science. Dr. Jana has authored more than 170 research papers and co-authored several books on aquaculture and ecological engineering.

Carl D. Webster, PhD, is Principal Investigator/Associate Professor at the Aquaculture Research Centre, Kentucky State University in Frank-fort. He is a widely published author, editor of the Journal of Applied Aquaculture (Haworth), and co-editor of Nutrition and Fish Health (Haworth) and Nutrient Requirements and Feeding of Finish for Aquaculture. Dr. Webster has served as president and as Secretary/ Treasurer of the United States Aquaculture Society, is a program committee member for “Aquaculture America ’02,†Program Chair for “Aquaculture America ’04.â€
