B.B. Jana, PhD, is Professor of Aquaculture in the Department of Zoology and Coordinator of the International Center of Ecological Engineering at the University of Kalyani, India. He is a founding member of the Asian Fisheries Society, an International Board member of Agricultural Science. Dr. Jana has authored more than 170 research papers and co-authored several books on aquaculture and ecological engineering.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Carl D. Webster

Carl D. Webster, PhD, is Principal Investigator/Associate Professor at the Aquaculture Research Centre, Kentucky State University in Frank-fort. He is a widely published author, editor of the Journal of Applied Aquaculture (Haworth), and co-editor of Nutrition and Fish Health (Haworth) and Nutrient Requirements and Feeding of Finish for Aquaculture. Dr. Webster has served as president and as Secretary/ Treasurer of the United States Aquaculture Society, is a program committee member for “Aquaculture America ’02,” Program Chair for “Aquaculture America ’04.”
