ABOUT THE AUTHOR Pramod Sharma

Dr. Pramod Sharma is working as Associate Professor in Institute of Management Studies, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla. Prior to this he also served in managerial capacity (gazetted) in Department of Industries, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and resigned after putting in three years to pursue academic research. Dr. Sharma also served in Himachal Administrative Services (HAS) which he subsequently resigned to take up the teaching assignment in H.P. University. Under University Grants Commission’s (UGC) fellowship, he did his doctorate on the Industrialisation of Himachal Pradesh in 1998. He also attended UN sponsored International Round Table Conference on Human Rights jointly organized by International Institute of Humanitarian Law (IIHL), at Sanremo in Italy in 2006.
