The Government of India has recently allocated 83,000 crores of rupees for the spread and maintenance of elementary and secondary education in 11 Five Year Plan from 2007 to 2112. It shows the seriousness of the Government of India to take care of the expansion of primary education in the country. Most of the developed countries of the west had acquired 100% literacy in the beginning of the 20 century and with the 100% literacy especially at the elementary standard helped those countries to raise the level of education in their countries. The method of teaching at the primary level is equally important. Primary education has to be made more and more interesting and appealing to the student. As such the teacher has to work hard to make his lessons interesting and appealing.
