Human Rights are of universal importance because these are the same for all regardless of race, colour, sex, language or religion etc. thus each human being can enjoy their life at the fullest. It has been accepted by all the nations, states and Government. Human rights education is a priority in that it contributes to a concept of development consistent with the dignity of the human person and takes account of the various segments of society such as children, women, racial minorities, disabled persons, and prisoners. For promoting respect for Human Rights, United Nations Organization has proclaimed Universal Declaration of Human Rights, covenant on social, economic, political, cultural right as many other issues. The UN General Assembly acknowledged the role of Centre for Human Rights in promotion, protection and implementation of Human Rights.
