It covers all the main aspects of mathematics–arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus and what entails a through sound imparting of a knowledge of these. As the goal of mathematics is to encourage the use of precise and accurate thinking to solve problems this aspect has been majorly emphasised in the book.
