ABOUT THE AUTHOR Arif Mohammed Khan

Arif Mohammed Khan was born in Bulandshahar, UP. He is a distinguished political leader and a statesman of high repute. He did his Bachelors from Aligarh Muslim University and LL.B from Lucknow University. He was the president of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union (1973-74). He was the State Minister of Agriculture (1983-84), Energy (1984-85) and Industry & Co. Affairs, Home Affairs (1985-86). He had also served as Cabinet Minister of Energy and Civil Aviation (1989-90). He loves books and immensely enjoys studying the Islamic classics to understand the Islamic classics to understand the Islamic law and Islamic philosophy. A gifted writer, his articles appear regularly in magazines and newspapers.
