ABOUT THE AUTHOR K. Parvathi

Dr. K. Parvathi did his M.Sc. in Textiles and Clothing and Ph.D. from Avinashlingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore.  After one decade of teaching experience she is now associated with a multinational company working in the field of textile designing and garment production.  She has actively participated in four training courses, seven national and international seminars, symposium and conferences and presented her research work.  She has also edited one book on “Fabrics” which was highly acclaimed by the readers.  Her fields of interest and specialization are garment production and textile designing.
