The Bhoksas are one of the scheduled tribes of India ”live in Nainital and Dehradun in U.P. Details of their ethnography have been depicted and many more adjusting processes due to culture contact have been pin pointed, while discussing the author used all modern anthropological methods to depict the way of life of the people. Scholar, administer and researcher will get plants materials which were unknown to the society.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Niranjan Kumar Ghatak
Niranjan Ghatak born in a village in North 24 Parganas and had his early education there. He was graduated from Bangaon college and later on got his M.Sc. from the University of Calcutta (1976). Ph.D. University of Calcutta in the year 1995). Dr Ghatak under took his work while he was attached to Anthropological Survey of India. Dr. Ghatak as faithful govt office had to shift from one center to another. He has joined as Joint Director, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. India Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
