The Environmental Divide: The Dilemma of Developing Countries

A team of four scholars from different disciplines, has authored this book on the North-South divide on environment. Written in a lucid style, the book would contribute to generating awareness on environmental problems, and related political and economic issues amongst the attentive public including the opinion-makers and policy-planners. Two special features of the book are its multidisciplinary orientation and its Third World perspective Having examined the existing solutions to environmental problems, the authors have proposed an imperative action paradigm for a New International Environmental Order.
