Amarjit S Narang is Professor of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, Indira Gandhi National Open University, new Delhi. He was formerly Fellow at Brook, McGill and Queens University. He has published six books including Democracy, development and Distortion and Ethnic Identities and federalism.
