This book is a critical examination of the historical development that took place in medieval Kashmir from the advent of the Muslims in the beginning of the fourteen century to the downfall of the Sikh rule in Kashmir in the middle of the nineteenth century. It reveals the social, political, cultural and economic development that took place in Kashmir during this period.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohammad Saleem Khan
Dr. Mohd. Saleem Khan, born in Srinagar, Kashmir, obtained his doctorate in Kashmir history in 1985 from the university of Kashmir. As a Prolific writer, he has published a number of Research papers and articles in leading national and International Journals. His recent book "The History of Jammu and Kashmir" (published in 2003) dealt with Dogra rule in J & K State; presently working as principal, Govt. Degree College, Kulgam, Kashmir.
