The Holy Buddha

The book presents the teachings of the Holy Buddha as recorded in the Pali Tripitaqka, the most ancient and authentic Buddhist Scripture. The study begins with a brief biography of Gautama Buddha, and is followed by description of the Holy Snagha, a Buddha, and is followed by description of the Holy Snagha, a unique monastic institution founded by the Buddha. An analysis of the entire Pali canon is given in the third chapter. The basic teachings of the Holy Buddha on five important topics have been presented in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter are presented selected sermons and sayings of the Buddha, derived form all the five Nikayas of the Sutta Pitaka. The teachings of Buddha specifically meant fro the Laity have been put together in the sixth chapter. And the last chapter gives a brief resume of the Milinda-panha, the most important Non-Canoncial Pali Work. Verily, this book is a handy compendium of the Original teachings of the Holy Buddha.
