Ven. Ledi Sayadaw, Aggamaha Pandita was the eminent Buddhist scholar. He has written in Pali and in Burmese more than seventy manuals of Buddhism (Dipanis), being the lucid expositions of the Buddha Dhamma, and the true presentationso f the main tenets of Theravada Buddhism.
