This book is a modest endeavour to present a sociological analysis and a composite picture of that bringing issue related to woman, which is not important for the life of woman herself only, but essentially related to the existence of whole humanity, society and nation’s life and the issue is "The Medical and Health Care of Women" with special reference to their reproductive health. Woman is the creator of whole of the humanity, mother of the race and of course the pivot of the family and above all, the equal participant in the development process of "Nation Building" in modern times. Being the student of sociology, author has tried to impress upon the fact that the social scientists and research scholars have significant role for better understanding of this acute social problems because health care is not only a bio-medical phenomenon but is inter-woven with the socio-cultural fabric of society.
