Maheh Dattani is the foremost Indian English playwright today. He has written significant plays: On a Muggy Night in Mumbai; Where There’s a Will; Dance Like a Man; Bravely Fought the Queen; and Final Solutions. He has received the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award for his contribution to Indian drama. Dattani is also a film director. ABOUT THE AUTHOR R.K. Dhawan

R.K. Dhawan teaches English at S.B.S. College, University of Delhi. He has lectured extensively at many universities, including those at Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Singapore, Tunisia, Italy and Australia. He has published several articles and books. He is the editor of The commonwealth Review, a bi-annual journal devoted to the new literatures.
