This volume presents 22 species of common poisonous plants occurring in the erstwhile Presidency of Bombay. The papers contain practical experience of poisonous cases by plants while teaching and working in Grant Medical College, Bombay. It also contains description of various plant parts and usages described in various authentic works by past workers. Definition of poisonous plants has been very well explained by Dr. Kirtikar from medical point of view. These plants used by tribals have also been discussed.
