The Principles of Islam

Islam is based on the solid foundations of certain principles and values which are eternal. This book intends to highlight and focus on these principles and values for the general public and the serious scholars of Islam. In presenting an image of the religion of Islam, the author shall follow the rule first laid down by them, viz., that all assertions and arguments shall be drawn from and based on, the Holy Quran. It is indeed a matter of the first impatience that every body who believes in any sacred scriptures as the reveled Word of God should not, in expounding the doctrines of that religion, go out of the Holy Book or depend upon arguments other than those which that book furnishes. Such a limitation would go far to simplify any dissertation upon a religion.
