ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ng Yu-Kwan
NG Yu-Kwan was born in mainland China in 1946. He studied philosophy and Buddhism in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and Canada, and obtained his Ph.D. at McMaster University. He has published many books in Taiwan, including the voluminous A comprehensive Dictionary of Buddhist Thought. He is currently senioir lecturer in philosophy and religion at the Hong Kong Baptist College.
