Due to easier mans of transport like rail, bus and aeroplane tourism industry in the world has gained very much. Most of the tourists form the developed world want to visit developing countries because it is very cheaper in the developing countries to get accommodation, transport and convenience. It is true that the infrastructure of means of transport, hotels and food materials etc. needs to be improved to the standards of the developed world. The developing countries especially are getting economic help by tourism to a great extent. Recently in India some acts of violence were perpetrated against the foreign tourists in Jammu & Kashmir and in Delhi also which brings bad name to the country and it adversely affects the tourism industry. Besides this tourism helps people of the different countries to understand each others and to gain culturally. It is also said that tourism spreads cultural imperialism of the West. So there is a section which is not very much in favour of the development of world tourism. However, the fact remains that the developing countries are gaining economically from th4 world tourism industry which is becoming a good source of income to the National Economy.
